In Memoriam: Tobin S. O’Donnell

Tobin O’Donnell was a co-founder of Colton and served as a Principal until he unexpectedly passed away on the 2nd of July, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love and unwavering devotion to family and friends.

He was involved in all aspects of investment management and business development.  He served on the board of several private companies.

Prior to founding Colton, Tobin worked directly for the worldwide business manager of the largest division at Oceaneering International, Inc., serving the offshore energy industry.    He began his career in finance, development, and operations at Ley Wilson Development.  There he led his team in the construction of multiple subdivisions.

Tobin received his BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from Rice University.
